The Aloha shirt experienced its heyday in the 1930s. American vacationers and stationed soldiers brought the shirt with them to the mainland. Within a very short time, the shirt became known all over the world. Even American presidents have been photographed in Hawaiian shirts. Today almost everyone knows the typical Hawaiian patterns and knows where these types of shirts originally come from.

We originally started out as a producer of flared trousers and bootcut jeans. Over time, we expanded our range to include unusual 70s fashion and especially 70s shirts. With the 70s shirts came ideas for shirts with Hawaiian patterns. And so we started experimenting. From an experiment as part of a small range expansion, Hawaiian shirts have become an integral part of Comycom over the years.
